Club sandwich
Ingredients
5 persons, 2 halves per person
- 500 g Marie Thumas Apéro Green Pea Dip
- 570 g whole wheat bread, sliced
- 300 g protein of choice (e.g. chicken)
- 100 g real bacon
- 150 g avocado slices
- 150 g tomato slices
- 75 g romaine lettuce leaves
- 5 eggs (optional, for fried eggs)
- 50 g mayonnaise (optional)
- Hot sauce to taste
Preparation
- Cook the protein:Â In a large skillet over medium heat, cook your chosen protein until fully cooked and browned. Set aside.
- Prepare the Pea Dip: Follow the instructions on the package to prepare the Marie Thumas Apéro Pea Dip. Optional: mix in mayonnaise and hot sauce for extra flavor.
- Assemble the sandwich:Â Toast the bread. Start with a slice, spread with Pea Dip, then layer lettuce, tomato, protein, bacon, and optionally a fried egg. Repeat the layers and finish with a slice of bread.
- Finish and serve:Â Cut the sandwich diagonally in 2 and secure each with a toothpick. Serve with chips.
